They're definitely making their own mark in this world and we adults could learn a thing or two about activism from them.
A few days ago, we posted about Abbie Jackson who asked her parents to look for the owner of a wallet containing US$4,000 in cash she found at the mall. Her honestly landed her to Justin Bieber's sold-out concert (that is really something for an eight-year-old!).
This time, another girl is making a difference and is taking a stand against slavery!
Toam Lam from Go Inspire Go reported on Vivienne Harr who set up a lemonade stand and all proceeds will benefit NOT FOR SALE, a non-profit organization that re-abolishes slavery.
The inspiration behind this? The eight-year-old girl viewed snapshops of modern-day slavery taken from around the world by Lisa Kristine, a photographer.
Just in the short period of two months, she managed to raise US$50,000 and she plans to continue until she reach US$150,000. Support her initiative by clicking here.
