MOTIVATIONMY.COM: How do you define SUCCESS?
ZAIN: I define success when some one has succeeded both spiritually and physically. One has to be sucessful with God by doing good and treating others fairly, kindly and not expecting something in return.
To me that is the most sucessful thing to do as I am a Muslim; this is taught to me by the ways of the prophet who smiles at everyone and wishes peace on to them no matter if they follow the same religion or not and that had made people realise Islam is a peaceful religion which should be carried on till today Insyallah.
Secondly, to be successful with money and power but money and power does not necessarily bring one happiness so to share your wealth and to see others suceed as you do would be the best feeling alive.. To share success is the true definition of sucess to me.
What keeps you MOTIVATED?
The thing that keeps me most motivated is really not a thing at all but is my mother. Siti Aishah Abdullah (my mother god bless her soul) is a convert who practices all the Islamic rules and regulations. She gives me words of motivation everytime I am down and pushes me to keep on going no matter how bad things get, she does not speak Malay fluently but I shall always remember these words from her and keep it dear to my heart.

What were some of the CHALLENGES that you've faced and how did you overcome them?
Well honestly, we go through challenges everyday and will remain that way until the day we leave earth but the only way to overcome things is to be focused and stay calm.

She told me to always 'sangka baik' to everyone and everything that happens. For example when I was a little younger my phone was stolen, I came home angry and of course I told my mom what had happened and she said "I know you are angry but look at it this way: it takes someone a lot to steal something, maybe they really needed the money so they resorted to stealing, so in a way Zain... maybe you helped him from getting beaten up or god forbid killed. Look at it this way and forgive the person Insyallah god shall repay you back in other ways. Just 'sangka baik'"
So I did and it makes me more focused and relieves the stess. I get a lot of motivation from my mother so in turn I too try to motivate people but as I also tell people you got to have the will and the want first yourself and then others can help.
Believe in yourself and others will too, never give up hope when ever you are down there is no where but up left to go. Smile.

Well honestly, we go through challenges everyday and will remain that way until the day we leave earth but the only way to overcome things is to be focused and stay calm.
Everything has a solution its just that some things need time or takes a longer period before it reveals itself. Never give up hope for only when you give up is when you have failed not failing to try.
There is no wrong in trying to do something and asking for help is not a sign of weakness but a sign of intelligence and courage to admit we could use a little help here and there and to admit we are not perfect beings where we don't know EVERYTHING.
So just like most of you, I take everything step by step and let time do its thing. Time heals everything and shows us the truth. Have faith in yourself and god.
What's your personal MOTTO?
My Motto... wow I have so many but the ones I love the most would be:
You laugh at me cause I'm DIFFERENT, I laugh at you cause you are ALL THE SAME.
Never be afraid to be different if its a good thing.
Another would be "No pain, no gain" this goes for a lot of things but I also put it in this context, if you never feel sad, never felt hurt, never knew how feeling down ever felt like then you would not really appreciate the beautiful, the lovely, the warm, the loving feeling which is the best feelings ever. So learn to appreciate these feelings as well and control them or mold them to do positive things instead when they come round. You wouldn't appreciate the sun if there was no rain ;)
Your advice for any young Malaysians
Your advice for any young MalaysiansMy advice to the strong talented future young Malaysians would be don't always rely on technology. Yes it is good but the old ways work as well. Don't juat chat online or sms, the best way is to see each other have the human touch between each other, get connected and do things together like camping or plan trips.
Think outside the box don't just live in your comfort zone. There is so much out there. All you go to do is want and take that first step and you are on your way.
Never give up hope be strong for yourself and others. Prove you are stronger than they think. Who knows you could be the person who then motivates them and they can motivate others.
